if he has a 98 F150 he will have a 3.55.. very doubtfull that he has the Limited slip.. if you lift your v6 and put 35s. on it.. you will loose much acceleration, performance, and just about any kind of gas mileage you used to have.

I have a v6 5speed running 33s. i didnt notice the increase in tire to much. but the gas mileage i did...

I had a friend running a 7 1/2 long travel from fabtech and a 3 inch body with 36s. and he couldnt beat a snail to the finish line. he couldnt even get it into 5 gear. he did end up going with 4.56 and did alot better. he also eventually went to 39.5 for a weekend and he couldnt make it over 60.

lol that would suck real baddly! my friend had an 87 F150 when we were in high school. he installed a 4 inch superlift and put 35s under it. they rubbed so bad, he got like 8 mpg, and couldn't go over 68mph with those tires being driven by the stock 302, 3.55 gears and 5 speed zf trans.
