Re: Instrument Panel Lamp Replacement

What type of vehicle. Big difference between a 1955 F-100 and a 2007 Mustang.

Re: Instrument Panel Lamp Replacement

Do you know hot to remove the dash panel? I don't think removing/replaceing the light bulbe should be a problem.

Re: Instrument Panel Lamp Replacement

My suggestion. Go to the local O'Reilly's, NAPA, AutoZone or whatever. Get a copy of Haynes or Chilton repair manual.
Everything you need to know is in there and they only cost about $10 I think. Or you can do a google search and get one on line.
I'm looking at mine right now and there are more than 20 steps listed to remove the instrument cluster. Including removing the steering wheel. To many to go into here.
I'm sure you're probably thinking "it's just a fricking light bulb" right now. Yes but with anything electric, if you mess up you could do all kinds of damage.
Computers, etc. Also if you don't pay attention to what you're doing and forget to disconnect the battery, there's a chance you could set off the air bags.
