I think we should break splines up by year..

Do you think a section divided by year would be a help to you guys, i know theres not much "year" specific stuff for the 93.... just an idea

I think seperating by engine class is easiest, not to talk about anouther online comunity but the Ranger Station does it that way and works extraordinarily well.

Maybe if we did it both by generation and by engine class. not to change it all over, just another few splines for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, then go further and break it down into engine size maybe... could help us *not so mechanicaly bright guys* get a better feel of what we can do to our rangers.......thanks (i really like this site a whole lot..... i saw an ad for this site on another and now im convinced. ...........and what about sub-domains for us. i know i read something about it somewhere. but let me know ok... im big into graphic and web design....

I think it splinters the group too much but that's just my personal opinion.

Think it would be nice later when there is more traffic on the sight . too break it down like 3.0 4.0 but by generation is to much.
just dont think it is justified at this time my .02 cents

I think it is a matter of opnion but I would go the other direction - do you need a section just to talk about weels or interior? I only go to the Ranger section and the same on the other ranger 4x4 related sites. I do think it is cool to provide a forum for the specifics but to breaking it more - won't get my vote.

I would have to say it would ruin the forum, because I couldn't get ideas on what to do to my truck from anyone with a different year. It may not be exactly the same but I still would like to hear what other people are doing and how it turns out. Dave

nope. The rangers suspension/platform is virtually unchanged from 1984 to 1997 so it would be a bit reduntant.

Some people know quite a deal about all generations, i'd like to open to their input without typing my post twice or more.

I think u should just split them up by engine class too cuz im not very inquisitive when it comes to engines so splitting by engine class would help me a lot!
