Re: ROUSH F150

Yeah, I am really surprised that the dealer got the truck. They must have really pull someone's arm (John's) to get that there. But the truck didn't stay long and it is something that is truly different. I also think it is funny to find someone else who has one.

Actually there were about 6 or 7 four doors but only 2 or 3 that were four wheel drive. But most are two doors and 2wd.

Re: ROUSH F150

Well I am up in Oshkosh, WI for the big air show called AirVenture and one of the really big sponsors is Ford Motor Company. I saw an opportunity to get my truck signed by the great Jack Roush (which he owns 3 P51 Mustangs) so he is there every year.

Also last year Matt Kenseth bought a Mooney which is an airplane and so he also showed up.

Here is the result of a little hard work and timing did for me:

Also I found the whole story behind your truck and how your dealer got one (details later), and I found out that the truck in Virgina is owned by a 2star general that works at the Pentagon.

Re: ROUSH F150

The story on your truck is that mine while it was in transit went by your dealership on the way to my house through New York. The guy at the dealer got on the phone and started calling around to figure out how to get one of the trucks he saw going down the road. He got in touch with a dealer south of Oshkosh who then but him in contact with John at Benna Ford, and I guess they made a dealer trade or what not and got the truck.

Thats basically it in a nut shell, I talked a lot to the guys at the Roush Booth at the air show and found out some cool things about these trucks and how they came to be.

In other news, there was a fatal crash yesturday at the air show which on the ground 2 P51s collided and the other pilot is fine and its a horrible thing, but these things happen and we can always learn from these experiences.
