My projects on the old cars is going a little slow this year. I need a harmonic balancer (which is on back order 2 weeks) and a SFI flexplate (not sure on the arrival) before I can get the 521 machined and balanced. I did pick up some roll bar tubing so I can finish the cage. I am also seriously debating on ordering the same front clip that my buddy recieved (pinto) for the 64. If I do this I may make a tilt front clip for it. This would make doing any engine repairs or tuning a snap.

| tbolt, I saw your aluminum heads in a previous photo and am jealous. I wish they made some for the old Y. There was one outfit, Speed Smith, who started development of Y aluminum heads a couple years ago. They even produced a pair of prototypes. 12-24 individuals chipped in $1000 to $1500 each to aid in development, and to assure they received the first productions. The price went from $2000 per bare set to $3000, and then development just stopped. There wasnt much explanation except the producer had too many irons in the fire and had to put his attention elsewhere. I hope the guys got their money back, but that would seem at best a 50-50 bet. Had they ever been produced, they probably would instantly have been one of the most expensive and least produced aftermarket items for a motor.
