i have an83 2.3 ranger with some mods already done and was looking to add a turbo with out swaping engines since ive already had considrable work already done to the engine i have. it is carborated and has no computer dont know if that makes a diff or not. and if it is possible how much work and money am i looking at

the easiest way would be to get one of the 2.3's from a Tbird... those come turboed... i know you dont want to do an engine swap, but i have not seen any turbos for the ranger 2.3... have you considered going with a 302? that's not too bad a swap, from what i've heard...
