Wouldn't it be easier to drop a newer diesel with turbo already on it?

I figured there was more than just bolting a turbo on....like intercooler and such. My company has one of the turbo non-powerstroke trucks and it sucks ass. It is nowhere near the power of the powerstrokes. With the propane i guess you will get past that. Don't people use no2 also?

the idi turbo diesel made from 93 -94.5 only gained 5 hp over my n/a,the psd makes almost 30 more stock, inter cooler is not needed it just makes it so we can make more power buy cooling the air after it has been turboed it is more dense with = more power, i can ut propane on it , nos on mine has never been tried since my compression ration is almost 22-1, where the psd is only 17.5-1. there is a guy who is running 19psi intercooled, propane, nos , psd rods, psd pistons has no clue what the power makes. guestimate is around 400 rwhp and near 1000 toqure and $20,000 up in it.

i would love to find a 94 turbo idi cc long bed 4x4 or reg cab since the motor insides are slitlty different for the heat
