tested the pickup a lil bit

last saturday night i was out driving around with a friend and another friend had his 89 gmc 2 wheel drive truck he takes around to car shows and we went down this highway that has no traffic where we mess around at. i went down there just to see if he would follow me then all of a sudden i went to shift into 4th driving normally and i heard his pickup and he went past me. his pickup has 18" glasspacks and it is very loud and deep, a good sound. so i down shifted and we went flying down the road and i was happy with it. we ended up going about 110 mph then backed off. i havent tested her on the quarter yet but she seems to pull pretty good down low. my friends 89 350 does pretty good in the top end so it will be interesting once we line em up. glad we didnt do it on the way back to town cuz we seen a hypo and we were going 65 in a 55 so needless to say he turned around but he took his sweet time so we were no where to be found when he popped up over the hill. bet he was suprised when he looked @ the empty highway with no one around hehe

Cool that you got away with your lil test drive. It dont hurt to open the machine up once in a-while to see how it will breath.
