Used to be Econoline question, now F150

After all that work to my E150, I didn't like driving it. So I bought a '98 F150 extra cab, 2 whl drive with the 4.6, If anyone remembers I bought a mint condition '97 E150 thru a connection for $50. At first it was to be an easy fix, and ended up being a complete rebuild. I really don't like Ford's 4.2 V6. Sorry to those that have it. It was very expensive to have done, certainly nothing speacial about it, and tons of horror stories! I'm much happier with the V8 in a truck now!!

v8? lol, my 4.2 V6 stomps 4.6 v8s. as for being reliable I am on my second v6, the only things I find special about it is that it responds well to mods, it has lots of potential, and it is a reliable Essex built engine.

no offense taken.
