i am moving my firewall back and remounting my engine mounts for the 5.0 but i need to find one for sale.

Ebay is the best and also look for the 5.0 that are in the explorers. They are actually better then a 5.0 that comes out of the GT'S. I have a friend that used the 5.0 out of a Mountineer and it is a HOSS, plus it is much cheeper and more available, LOCAL JUNK YARD!

www.stangparts.com or local junkyard. Check the classifieds in your paper too, and you should be able to find some junkers with the right motor, or maybe even a few companies that sell the long block.

check your junk yard, or maybe a copy of truck trader... ebay motors would be a good place to start.. the 302 is a readily available engine... good luck.

Where about are you located? I have a friend that has a 302 out of an 88 GT. It has 178,000 miles so it would need to be rebuilt but for $200 or $300 dollors you can't beat it.
