Thumbs up 460 year????

I need help on finding a year on a 460 engine. It's not the original in a 72 F-250 I've got. All I can find is a code on the heads(D3VE-A2A). Does anyone know what this means or can help me find out the year on this engine...........Thanks.
PS. If the block has numbers on it where would they be at????

The D1VE-A2B identifies a 71 up 429/460 block, with a stock bore of 4.36". Sorry, don't have HP/TQ figures.
