5.0 ranger exhaust

what is everyones opinion on what the optimum exhaust would be for a street and off road driven ranger with a 5.0 h.o? some people say dual 2.5" and some say single 3". i was thinking dual 2.5" with cats and an "x" pipe after the cats to maximize the flow potential, along with 2 chamber flowmasters, oh and my hooker headers. sound good? please help me with this issue!:smokin:

personnally i like your idea, that sounds like the way to go to maximize the airflow. Flowmaster would be the way to go for the 5.0 as well. Too bad however that everything they sell now has the deltaflow technology and isnt as loud as it used to be but if that doesnt bother you then oh well. Goodluck with your decision:thumbsup:

3 chamber Flows would sound great! I had 2 chamber Flows on my 5.0 T-Bird and it was way too loud! Didn't even sound good either. Pipes were 2.5" but it was just too darn loud!
