Question tonneau covers

Thinking of buying an extang tuff tonno III bed cover but thought I'd ask if anyone out there has had any experience, good or bad, with the soft tonneau covers.

toneau cover wear is going to be sorta like the tp you buy.... you go with the $0.39 special you will be whipin your ass with a log... or you can go with the $0.99 deluxe and have the best tp ever... so what im saying is if your going to get a tonneau cover get a good one... dont replace a cheap one twice in the time a good one would last you....

I have a soft tonneau cover for the top of an extended bed ranger. The only thing i didnt really like about them is that when it was cold, the buttons didnt like to come open and pulling on them broke them. i have maybe 3 or 4 buttons broken, none of them in vital areas, i.e. corners. anyone interested ill sell it cheap. had on truck for maybe a year. im in DE

I have an Extang Black Max, my older brother has one, and my younger brother has one and we all love them.

I believe I got mine from here and they have the best price right now that I can find. $175 plus free shipping.

I'd love to add a bedcover but I just don't have the 600 to 800 dollars extra for a hard cover and have heard the soft covers have alot of problems (such as minature ponds or fading and tearing). Anyone here ever have any problems such as that?

nope, mine seems to be high quality and the water just rolls right off. i dont even put any protectant on it, had it for like 6-8 months and it is still black..

i bet if you put some armoral on it then it would fade quick

Extang is the best out there...lots of different models. Sportsman is next. With any cover, never use products with silicone in them. Will damage the vinyl. Extang has the best warranty....lifetime-frame, ten yrs-vinyl. Good luck with your choices.
