problem with fabtech lift...

ok well maybe its not entirely the lift that im having a problem with but whatever. Anyways, it seems that everytime i turn sharp right my tires rub my mud flaps behind front tires, but when i turn left it doesnt. So i became suspicious and decided to check it out.

Well it seems that my right tire is closer to the flap than my left tires is, almost as if the axle was crooked or something was wrong with the frame. I had an accident a while back and the truck did have frame damage, but was "fixed" by a professional shop. And my alignment does pull to the left every once in a while. Anyone have any idea what this could be and how to go about fixing it? :puzzled:

if you got new i-beams then they sometimes have a problem with being just like the factory ones, they could be bent a little . now it they are round beams then you could have bent them off-road,they are not as strong as I shaped ones.

I beams on a 2000 Ranger? Hmmm....

I'm pretty sure that Ford swithced over to SLA suspensions after 97. Unless you have a swapped in suspension, i'd say you are looking at a different problem.

You need to have your caster looked at by a proffessional alignment shop.

it sounds like you may have a bent frame at the mounting points of the A arms or you may have a bent A arm.
