I've gone the Beltech route with dropped I beams and modified rear shackles, and I'm pleased with it. I use it as a light duty street truck and weekly at the amateur Bracket drag races.

Droppin, slammin, baggin, all words I love. www.GodfatherCustoms.com is a good place to start. www.minitruckn.com is another too. FBI Mini's is where I have bought a majority of my stuff for my 91' ranger. They are quick to ship and have fair prices. They offer bag kits for 995 i believe.

If you want to lay frame though, you will need to put a lowering kit on first. Just pick up an issue of MiniTruckin' mag and flip through. There is a kit offered for 269 that does exactly what you need.
