I have a new GT Mustang hood scoop that I am going to put on my Ranger. I have the new raised hood. Has anyone put a GT scoop on their Ranger? If so any help would be appreciated.

is it going to be functional?

You could use double stick automotive trim adhesive tape, but I plan on drilling holes and using the factory mounts. The front mounts are at an angle and that has me baffled right now.

Can do! I have a digital Camera. If it works out alright this might make a good how to project.

I am a firm believer in taking your time and do something right the first time. That phrase measure twice cut once fits this project. Measure four times and drill once! I took the sound deadener off of the underside of the hood and there are a few holes that will have to have an access hole drilled from underneath. These holes are in some of the hood bracing that makes access to put the bolts on the studs impossible unless I drill a larger (1") hole to access the stud. I have finished cutting out the templates, I will keep a copy so if all works well with the install I would be able to send copies to those who ask. Tomorrow I will attempt to cut down the from honeycomb piece to fit my hood. This will leave an unfinished lower edge. I think if I use some thin weatherstripping along this lower edge it should look ok. Not too many people look that close at this edge anyway. With a little luck I hope to have it installed by this weekend.
