SAW NEXT YEARS F-150 PROTOTYPES

My cousins an engineer for Tower Auto. and went to a Detroit auto. plant for a meeting. He got to sit in and look over the redesigned F-150's for next year. He loved them!! He said they have the drop down style windows like the current F-250 and 350's. The std. cabs have a small 10" door to access behind the seats (simular to the ex-cab, only smaller and no window). The rear windows in the ex-cab roll down and the step sides have a rear wing-like piece on the tailgates. They are totally changed and beautiful. He was told that they're gonna release pictures to the press in the next day or so. They didn't have any lightnings to look at.

Dearborn trip

Will be going to Dearborn in Sept for a 2 day hands on the next generation F650. We will also be taking our turns around the Ford test track (there is always something to see there). I will try for pics of whatever I can.

On the F-250 and 350 the side windows dip down by the mirror. Next time you see one just look by the mirrors and you'll see what I mean. I'm not sure how to explain it.

UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE

Nest years F150 regular cab pickup will be a 4-DOOR!
Since the cab is going to be bigger & roomier, I guess Ford wondered what they could do to recap[ture market share in that segment as it is VERY important to Ford.
Storage behind the seat has always been an issue so the regular cab will have smaller suicide type doors about 1/2 the size of this years supercab. No windows in the doors. They are there for access to the storage behind the seat. What a great idea! The cab is supposed to be quite a bit roomier.
I will post more info as I get it.
