Just put the grill from a 89 Aerostar in my 86 Ranger. Had to cut out the center section from both grills, trim the Aerostar to fit, then glue it in and paint. Took three evenings, but I think it's worth the effort. Whatcha think?l

I saw this modification on another site also. I've been seriously thinkin about giving it a shot.

Stopped tonight at a used car lot to check out an Aerostar n it doesn't look all that difficult. Besides,if I mess it up that bad I have another grille to replace it since nobody seems to be interested in the one I have for sale.

I still have one question......Do they all come in black or was there a gray,or chrome option?

The one I looked at was black. There were others on the lot that I didn't get to see since I was quickly interupted by Sioux City's finest.....hehe.

I tryed to explain to him what I was doing but he really didn't seem to care.

Oh well,what can you do?.........If it was my car lot or driveway I would want the same.

I'm not sure about other colors, think they may all be black. You can always paint it. You'll likely want to paint at least part of it anyway, as the Aerostar's grill is a little shorter than the Ranger's and part of the chrome edge shows.
