help installing 6 speed automatic in 98 expedition

I want to install one of the new 6 speed automatics into my 98 expedition. I would like to know if anyone knows where info could be found on how to accomplish this retrofit including parts harnesses and powertrain modules needed and if buying an engine and transmission pair with its control harnesses from a salvage yard would be easier.
