| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition I've watched Ford "special editions" come out for over 50 years. If it's something customized by a dealer, like Roush or Shelby or a few others I can think of, that didn't become quite so famous, you would PROBABLY get something special for your money. But if it is/was produced by the factory. All you usually get for your money is vinyl stripes or graphics, badges, a "special" paint and maybe wheels. The problem I have had with every one of them is you usually only get 1 package. Take it or leave it. That is, as Henry Ford use to love to say. "You can have it in any color you want, as long as it's black." So what happens. If it's popular enough. You spend extra for a "special" and the next thing you know there are 150,000 of them on the road just like it. No thanks. I'll buy just a regular Ford and create my own "Limited Edition" |

| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition No thanks. Paint job looks really bad and I'm sure the interior looks just as bad. And why would I want FunkMaster Flex badges all over my vehicle? If I want a customized car I want it to be more than just cosmetic.

| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition Ok not so sure on this one.. I think maybe for a chic but surely not something I'd want my hubby drivin around town. I don't think the two tone flows with the truck.. maybe a blue...? IDK but I don't like the orangy look... |

| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition It seems great to me as the looks are always deceptive for powerful engines and the color is for others to see and it does not matter as long as you like it.I have liked the vehicle. |

| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition yeah i agree with you sanju but why one would go for it if he is having better options available where he can get looks as well as powerful engines. Now world is more competitive so such products may not catch people's attention. |

| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition I purchased this vehicle on 5/04/09 and it is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned - HOT HOT HOT. Best of all, I got it new for $20k less than the MSRP, and I'm getting a shade over 18 mph (after installing K&N filter). I highly recommend..... |

| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition Spotted one of these here in Sioux City,Iowa. It was on a used car lot that I drive by every day when going to work. It's a good looking truck, just not my taste, and definately not in my price range. I'll stick with the G/Fs '97..hehe. ![]() The Girlfriend's ride. ![]() ![]()

| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition Surely this was not the selling price - if so, the Sioux City dealer is waaaay off. After we purchased ours, there were several on eBay and at local dealers in ATL selling for a few thousand more than we paid, but much less than 49K. I was driving a '92 Ford Ranger XLT, so it was time to treat myself. Looked at the Harley F150, Lariat Limited, Tundra, Titan, etc., but the FMF had it all for a great price, so we jumped all over it. Ours has a silver pinstripe rather than the orange, and running boards painted to match like you might see on the limited version. Even though the gas is beginning to creep up, we're still very glad that we made the purchase. Your girlfriend's ride looks great - I actually prefer that body style over mine. |

| Re: 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition Goodmorning RWA3: I'm sure it sold for much less than the sticker price. About 5 years ago I was in a bad financial situation, and I fell in love with a F150 "Nascar Edition". Same kind of thing - $50K truck reduced by $20K. I was SO sick for not being able to take advantage of the deal, but I got an even better one with the FMF because it looks better and has more options. I like Ford and I LOVE the Lord!!! Enjoy the weekend. |
