| Removed pinstripes.. It's about time.. Those things were kinda getting to me. A claybar really goes a long way when trying to get rid of the leftover residue. My clear corners were starting to turn yellowish, so I put my stock ones back on until I could order some better clears. Painted the grill and headlight trim white to match the truck.. Ran out of paint after about 2 coats on each piece, so I'll just leave it be for right now until I buy some more, then sand it down some so it's smooth, then repaint a few more layers and toss on some clearcoat. Should look slick. I've still got the trim separating the two tone paint (white/tan eddie bauer).. I want to remove that, but I'm not sure how the colors would blend.. Maybe I'll just save up and get the whole truck painted white (after I shave all the door handles, rear hatch, fuel door, etc). I'm thinking of a way to reroute the fuel hosing to behind the license plate and have it on a spring system. I have my eyes on some 18" Saleen replicas (painted white) and a 2" body drop... But I'm thinking I might want to put in a v8 first. Decisions decisions.. Sorry this was a rambly post. Any input from anybody? Or any local gearheads wanna help me out? :P

| The engine it has now is a 4.0l v6 with around 180k miles on it. I was thinking about turbocharging a v8 and dropping that in, but that can get real pricey. Donations are always welcome.

| well a v8 isnt all that expensive. go to a local junk yard and pull a 4.6 or 5.0 out of a stang, crown vic or a tbird/cougar. rebuild the motor (thats very cheap to do.) then go back to the yard and find yourself a car with a turbo in it (ex. mitsubishi, nissan, or toyota) and take the turbo off the car. then get some custom turbo headers made up and upgrade the exhaust and fuel system! all this can be done for a total of like $1800! if you spend wisely

| Hmm.. Never looked at it like that. I've got a flowmaster 40 series on my truck right now, apten chip, and kkm intake. I'm sure I could use the same exhaust, just get a shop to bend me up some metal so I can mate it to the new motor. The chip can be reprogrammed, but I'll probably have to get a new open air intake. I'll keep my eyes open, and once I find me a decent motor at a good price, I'll let you guys know. I really want to turn this thing into a major sleeper. Thanks for the input :D
