Need ideas...

Besides the Recaro's Saleen used, anyone put any other seats in their X?

I am a little tired of the factory ones, and am looking for some suggestions. Either that, or I am going to strip the factories down to the frame and recover them.

Any bright ideas out there?

Talking RE: SEATS

Instead of me ripping my seats out of my x, I bought some Wet Okle seat covers front and back for about $700 but thats beacause I bought them threw Car Boutique. My seats look nicer than the stock cloth. Plus I got the ford logo put on in the middle of the top of the seat. I hope that may help.

P.S. Hey could you post some pics of your X up on the site I would like to see it..

I had thought about the Wet Okle's, but for the money they want for a set, I can redo both my seats with new leather covers and monogramming, plus a set of neoprene covers.

Luckily, I have an industrial sewing machine at my parents, so all it would cost me would be material. I am looking for some different seat layouts, something to look different than the factory seat design. I may just end up making some new covers for my factory seats to a different contour and see how they look...

Thanks! Oh yeah - I am working on some new pics this week if I can get the weather to cooperate for ONE day...

Mother nature just isn't helping me any...

Good Deal!!!

Glad I remembered you wanted some. I was looking through them to see if I could find some cheap torn ones that I could recover and not have to tear up my seats.

Now all I have to do is find me some... :smokin:

Well, thanks for thinking of me!! I do have some plans for the interior, just don't want to paint it like some others are doing. I am trying to get a design right for some flames in the headliner and get my material together to do the console and door panels. But just so you know how nice of a guy I am:
