| bang in 4x4 vehicle: '87 BII 5 spd manual transmission, manual shift transfer case, stock manual hubs. played in the mud yesterday. when I got on the highway in between trails, I put the t-case in 2H, but left the hubs locked. While on the highway, the truck seemed heavier than usual with the hubs locked for a bit (1 mile) then a "bang" like i'd hit a pothole and it went back to normal. At the next trail, I checked the 4x4 and the hubs lock and unlock as normal, the t-case locks and unlocks normally. Anyone seen this before and know what happened?:puzzled: |
