Bronco II?s

I'm thinking about a good summer project, but I need to know the following.

What year was an electric shift for the 4wd made availiable?

What is the distance from the center of the front tire to the front of the frame?

What is the distance from the center of the rear tire to the rear of the frame?

What is the travel (front and rear) of the stock suspension?

What would you consider to be the best year of Bronco II to build an offroader? I'm mainly concerned with frame/axle strength.

Any information would help alot!

Bronco II Resource

You might want to check out this site:
http://www.therangerstation.com/yabb...oard=Bronco_II There is a lot of good info on BII's and willing folks to help. As to the measurements you request, depend on the suspension mods and other equipment modifications. I have an 87 BII and it has been a fun vehicle to work on......
