The Mustang, by definition, resists conformity. Ford knows that there are as many different Mustangs as there are people to drive them, which is why the company offers 43 ways to accessorize the 2010 model. Los Angeles Auto Show visitors were treated to a visible demonstration in the Mustang Garage.
Guests chose from an array of custom offerings from Ford Vehicle Personalization, using on-site computers. Then, right in front of them, Team Mustang (
Pimp My Ride’s Galpin Auto Sports) built their design — either on a V-6 convertible or on a GT coupe. “Nobody has done this before with a new vehicle as popular as Mustang,” said Mark Conforzi, chief designer for Vehicle Personalization.
From the grille, over the hood, down the side, straight back to the spoiler, the 2010 Ford Mustang offers countless combinations for personal expression: side stripes, wheel finish, hood and side scoops, and more. Watch Team Mustang build one auto show visitor’s design right here.
