1995 Tbird SOHC to DOHC Engine Swap

I have a 1995 Thunderbird 4.6 that needs an engine. I work for a salvage yard and came across a 1995 Mark Series DOHC Engine and Transmission with Engine harness and Computer. I found an article that says the engine and trans will bolt right into place. The article said to use mark engine harness and the tbird chassis harness; but I have to create an adapter to connect the engine harness with the chassis harness. Does anyone else know more about this? I would hate to get halfway into this project and come across a problem that isn't worth solving. Also if anyone can come across a site that has both the engine wiring harness for a 95 lincoln mark series and the body harness for 95 thunderbird I'd really appreciate it.

Sherco Auto Supply Wire
With the cost of a new wire harness you can make 3 and have it be way better then
stock. If you plan on keeping the car go with that marine grade wire, It is tinned the
whole way so you will never have a corrosion problem. Using new connector inserts and
soldering and crimping will make for a problem free connection.

Re: 1995 Tbird SOHC to DOHC Engine Swap

I have been since told that I have to extend three sensor wires on the old harness and have the computer programmed. I found a guy who did this swap and he told me that all he had to do was extend the Oil Pressure sensor, Cam sensor and Temp sensor. I am getting ready to pull my old engine this week so any more information I can get before then would be appreciated.
