hey T-Bird guys, Show us your rides!

Hey guys,
First, I would like to welcome all you T-Bird dudes to the forums, and I look forward to hearing more from all of you. I don't own a T-bird, but I sure do like them! I would like to see some of you guys rides if possible. My wife and I have enjoyed the pics submitted thus far, and hope to see more. I hope your gang continues to grow, and hope you all feel comfortable here at FordCustoms. Thanks for your time. Darby Williams:thumbsup:

The wheels or the tires? Frankly, I don't remember-these were taken just after I acquired the car, and the first thing that disappeared were the wheels and tires. They went back to the previous owner, and I mounted a set of American Racing Torque-Thrust wheels shod with the best Goodyear tires available at the time-Eagle Racing Rain Compound.

They look like Panasport wheels, similar to MiniLites, 8 spoke spider design. I had some on my '83 Stang and I wish I could have gotten some for the Bird. Unfortunately the largest they come in is 15".

MyBird

You asked for it. I will get a night pic at a diner posted to the gallery after I find someone to scan it for me. Until then...

Thanks so much guys for your time spent adding these pictures to the site. The T-birds are really N-I-C-E !!! I was also very pleased to see Birdman's Sunbeam. I had read his works about this vehicle a while back, and was glad to finally see this little beast. My wife and I have truly enjoyed the pictures, and look forward to seeing more. Once again, welcome T- Birds! Right On!

rlstonejr - Yes that is Saugatuck, We go there several times a year. Love it, especially in the fall. That pic was Sept 30th, the first weekend we had the car last year, and our first day trip with the Bird.

Gobird - It Nov 5th. We were lovin' the porthole, and the weather was too cold for top down. Didn't take it back off until our trip to Orlando at Xmas. Thanks for the pics of the soft cover. Looks good.

Here is a pic of my "Partial Interior Accent" for those who have not seen one. The gear shift handle can barely be seen, but it is blue to match the top of the steering wheel. The full accent adds color to the bottom of the console, dash and door arm rests. That is a little too much color for me, but many love it. It's just a matter of personal taste.
