rlstonejr - We don't have winters like those anymore. We see bare ground many times during the winter now. In those days, winter came and stayed. Still, you've got to like snow, or this is the wrong place.

It's hard to believe that no one has made any comments about the orange car I posted yet.

Gobird,

I haven't decided about the bezel yet. I'm definitely getting the floor mats though. I'm also going to get the invisible bra that Xpel has.

Congratulations! sorry we were gone and missed your delivery. Guess I should put up several of those pictures with Bruce shaking new owners hands!

(this makes post#30 - so will see if I can become a woman on this site)

I checked my profile right after post#30 showed up and it still hadn't caught up with the fact I had reached that point though it showed me as a Ford Owner under my name on the #30 post so couldn't change even the "ford owner" notation. Haven't checked the profile this afternoon to see if I can make the change now.

Will load my latest photo of my classic ride later.

Justin, I was able to change my "status" after the 31st post - as you may have noticed.

My newest favorite of my Classic ride

Photo taken on the Blue Ridge ParkWay in Virginia. If you ever have a chance to take that drive, it's well worth the effort and time. The road is great - curvy and very scenic. Just wish we had had time to take the "Skyline Drive" thru the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia - at the north end of the Blue Ridge ParkWay. We took almost the complete drive down into North Carolina, getting off the drive in Asheville to head for Atlanta. Even got to visit the Asheville Diecast store.

Noticed on the maps that there is a Parkway stretching from Nashville, Tennessee to Natchez, Mississippi. Think we'll plan a trip up or down that some year.

gmadams, Thanks. I also took several so I can make a 3-D shot of that scene. Have an even better photo of the scene but it's without the 'bird. It came out almost looking like a painting.
