Customizing your 2002 Bird?

Anyone else adding custom features to your new "baby"? I recently had the calipers painted to match the car, and really like the look.

Please share your ideas and attach a pic.

:wavey:TBIRD02 where did you get the Tbird blue paint, from a place like Auto Zone or an auto paint sales place? I have been wanting to do that but so far I cannot find the paint in spray cans. I do have spray equipment to do it that way but didn't want to buy the thinners and all that go with it to do it that way.
I see you don't have your Bird painted on the center hub yet.:naughty: Do you plan on doing this also?

Gobird - I had the body shop do it for me when they were repairing a minor paint flaw I didn't have done last fall. They made a mistake and said they could paint them on the car, and quoted me $125. later they decided to remove them and paint in the paint booth, reinstall and bleed the brakes. They stood behind the quote though. It is the same paint as the car, including clear coat. They custom mixed the amount they needed at the dealership.

I don't plan to paint the cap birds until I actually see it done on another car. I don't want to "overdo it".

I like the blue calipers. I have a black car and I intend to repaint the calipers blue (currently orangey red) but a blue that matches the tbird wings.

Those cars look good. My best friends mom got the blue one.

Are these cars daily drivers?

A lot of the owners use them as daily drivers. Mine is a weekend one. 5Bird7 has so many cars to choose from that they can almost choose a different one every day
