My Mustang

I have had my baby for one year now! She is a dark blue '96 V6 automatic convertible/black top which is still mostly stock. So far, I have put in a K&N filter, lowering springs up front, and true dual exhaust with series 40 Flowmaster mufflers and Pacesetter crossover pipe.

My immediate future mods include:
(have the parts, just need the time)
3.55 gears with Tloc
T5 transmission swap
'95 SuperCoupe (ROOTS BLOWER, BABY!!) engine, complete with EEC and wiring.
Cobra Hood and Front bumper
Whiteface guages
'98 Cobra center console (gotta have TWO cupholders!! )
Subframe connectors

Down-the-road mods:
Suspension improvements (performance shocks and struts, bushings, etc.)
Rear wheel spacers
Bulllit wheels
(I may hold off to see what they put on the new MachI Mustang, I hear they are getting 17" Magnum-style wheels)
Leather interior
Sound system
BOSS paint theme (Aftermarket spoiler, C-stripes and blackened hood)

I already have it dubbed "BOSS 232" as evidenced by my personalized license plate.

Before I do the SuperCoupe conversion, I'm going to have the heads and intake ported and polished, valves reground, install performance cam, stiffer valve springs, longer pushrods, and raised intake top.

My goal is to get as close to 350 rwhp and into the 12-second 1/4 range as possible!

DAGNAMMIT!
I just got to get my Ranger done so I can get to work (and spend my money) on my MUSTANG!!
:smokin:

THATS BAD ASS MAN!!!!!! Im putting a roots blower on my 4.0 in less then a year! I want to paint my truck in that boss paint theme! Do you think it would look ok? Give me some ideas for a simple paint theme. I really wanted to paint the cowl on my hood black!

My paint theme

I'm going to model my paint scheme after this blue 69 Boss 302 except the "C"-stripe will be reversed. I want the C-stripe to flow with my side scoops, not go against them. I dunno, maybe it the stripes will look good if I paint them on the same as this '69.
:puzzled:
I'm still considering the '70 side stripe which runs from the blackened hood, down the fender, then down the side. I dunno. I need to spend some tome with a good photoshop program and run the different schemes on my car.

My factory paint is almost exactly the same color as the BOSS in this picture.

I will post pictures of my presently mostly-stock V6 as soon as I get some scanned.

Or the '70 styling?

here's the '70 Boss.

Which scheme would look better on a '96 convertible?

EXACTLY!

I always liked the '70 body better (just thought I'd let everyone know ), but I think the '69 stripe looked better. I think that would be the case on a '96. That's just me, though.

Besides, the '70 stripe was already used on one of the newer GTs (I think it was '94. "Shinoda Anniverary" or something BOSS. I can't remember for sure) as a factory option. One of those "all show no (extra) go" models.

Ok, got my attention. A s/c'd V-6 'stang. Now your talking. I think that the '69 Boss 302 stripe would look the best on your car. Cause looks and performance go hand in hand.
