Birdman93, he has taken rtbrd off as co-moderator so now he runs the whole show.

I can't understand that. He knows lots of people respect and appreciate all the work Jodrod has done. He has worked harder than anyone, including the moderator/owner on that site. I hope to see much more of him here, especially now.

Tbird

There it is.

rls, I was just going to send you an email about this site but I see it is not needed.

One less post needed to get rid of that "Chevy Man" thing.

thanks joe. sounds like tbird needs some serious medication. it's impossible to believe that after all your hard work you were just dismissed like that.

As you can all see, I'm actively involved in this forum as a moderator and through the news section.

Justin has done a great job in setting up this site, and everyone here seems to get along well! There's no active flaming or harrassment taking place, and ALL of the members take an active role in giving constructive advice and criticism.

RTBRD-I would make contact with Justin and ask about setting things up here as far as the database goes-as word gets out, we'll find more and more people migrating to this board.:fordsrule:

GoBird-

I wasn't laughing AT you in my earlier post-just laughing about the fact that [name removed] is willing to chase the good folks off of his board.

more members coming soon

In an effort to drive up the membership of FordCustoms Forum, [name removed as requested] has announced:

Quote:
I think we are going to start charging for annual memberships after July 15th, rather than the current lifetime memberships. I'm also considering making the message board private for members only like the Lincoln LS group to keep it club style.
Now that's a novel way to encourage new membership - close the doors! Why didn't I see it before? On second thought, perhaps we should send Mike a thank you note for helping recruit new members for this forum.

:werd: tbird says that he wants to make the site like the LS site. What he fails to say is that the LS site has a board of directors or a committee that run that site, not just one person running the whole show.: I guess if that is what he wants then that is the way it will be, BUT he just may be there all by himself in the weeks to come. He already has my $$ and a lot of other people so I guess that is our loss. So far he has collected over $6,375 from the members on that site and we have NO say as how things are run.

I gave my money one week before I saw the handwriting on the wall, and kissed that site goodby. Asked for a refund, got no reply. He has a very narrow view of the world, and everyone else is wrong. As he says "it's my site". He's welcome to it!

I enjoy this site much more, and it will only get better as more Bird lovers join us, and share their knowledge. The original membership here has been very positive and supportive, and I want to thank them for that.

Haven't participated on that board since last weekend when tbird deleted all my posts that were at all critical - including the one where all I said was that I have had enough and won't be participating for a while. :toungue: That was following his fat a$$ comment to jrl. I have gotten on to read posts just to keep up. Here's a question for you - I'm probably just paranoid - but I can get on the site from the office or at home thru aol - but I can't get on at home thru internet explorer which was my normal method and what I used all weekend. Could tbird have blocked me out somehow?
Anyway - to repeat what others have said, I'm glad to be here - this site is awesome.:thumbsup:
