hey, i was wonderin how many other people on here have any t-bird supercoupes cause im havin a minor problem and i was wonderin if youve had this problem before, ohhh, have any of yall heard of fun ford weekend???? im thinkin bout takin the old t bird out there, they are goin to be at bristols dragstrip behind bristols nascar track or w/e in august

Could be worse. Sounds like two easy problems to fix. I thought we had at least one other super coupe on here.

i dont have a s-coup but have had a few friends that have. what is the prob?

i think i just have some type of vacuum leak, but im not sure, like it will idle fairly high, high enough to run by itself without me touching the gas pedal, and the brakes will hiss and sometimes almost completely not even work, like it will go all the way to the floorboard and barely be slowing down, i asked someone at my local ford dealership and they said it could be something simple like a vacuum leak or the brake booster/master cylinders gone bad, weve replaced a lot of things and it still hasnt fixed it, so those have got to be the only things left that it could be, but im not 100% sure, so, any suggestions????

well think id look at the proportioning valve bout the braks, the idleing look and look agean at all vac lines ,if nothing check coils and s plugs /wires the computer my be compensating

nah, parked it and went on vacation, just got back yesterday afternoon, so, i havent had a real chance to look at it, i cranked it and stuff, but didnt drive it, scared to, dont want to mess anything up, weve replaced the computer, mass airflow sensor and a couple other electronic things, its gotta be vacuum related, thx for the help/suggestions, you guys are awesome
