Thumbs up Ford 427 Concept (?)

The Ford 427 concept is a four-door, rear-drive family car with pumped-up performance. Inspired by Ford’s famous sedans of the 1960s, Ford’s goal was to bring back the classic American sedan; big on power, size and style. Based on the Lincoln LS rear drive platform, the 427’s aggressive look is achieved with long, low slung and wide proportions. Some exterior design elements recall the ’60s designs of the Galaxie, like the vertical headlamps and horizontal bar grille. To match the sedan’s black sleek exterior, the entire interior is wrapped in handcrafted black leather with white stitching and complimented with brushed aluminum accents. The 427 needed a powerplant that could live up to its muscular image, so beneath the hood is an all-new, lightweight 427-cubic-inch V-10 that cranks out 590 horsepower.

Re: Ford 427 Concept (?)

Looks like a cross between a Cadillac and Chrysler 300 to me
