best Ford model

What is the best Ford model car or truck in your opinion?

To me, it's gotta be the F-150. The best selling truck in history. Always top notch performance and look. Can be had for a decent price too.

I think the F-150's only competition is the Mustang.

Mustangs, F-150 and F-250, Taurus, Looks like Fusion has some potential. The Explorer has sold incredibly well over the year but I never cared for em.

All of these may not be the coolest but I think they are the best:
Fox body 'stangs
Current gen 'stangs
97-03 F150
99- F250/F350
50's F100 p/u
64 1/2-67 Mustang
Current CrownVic
91-96 T-birds
It's an odd list but, i've got my reasons for all of them.

Re: best Ford model

Any year Mustang. I would take any year. F150s also are badass. Lightnings..etc. Um. I do love the Thunderbirds also. Dont exactly know what year but I wanna say the 86, 88ish style? Love the Birds til 97. Dont like the front ends they put on them. Crown Vics also rock!!

Re: best Ford model

Any Mustang is killer. But I gotta say the Fox-Body Mustangs are my favorites. The Mustang has outlasted any competitor and Ford continues to put out the best American muscle today with the Pony (RIP Camaro, oh wait...lets get out the defibrillator).

Secondly, I love the Ford diesel truck. There is nothing like a Powerstroker to get the job done.

Re: best Ford model

Don't know about the best. But my all time favorite is the 55-56 Crown Vic.
There's just something about that huge hunk of chrome that starts on the quarter panel,
splits the windows and goes across the roof. I've wanted one since I was 17.
I keep dreaming that someday I'll find one on jacks in the back of some barn in Iowa.
