Re: Ford Dealership Experiences

I have only had experience with one Ford dealership in my life, and my experiences with them have been excellent. This is probably attributed to the fact that my uncle has worked there for the past 20+ years and is the head mechanic. My family typically deals with him with it comes to service, and if buying a car he usually connects us up with the best guys.
I guess I am pretty biased...

Re: Ford Dealership Experiences

In the last 36 years I have worked at 6 different ford dealerships I have met some very interesting people, most of the stores were great, except for the last one. I was ther for 19 years, the first 12 years were like a home away from home, then some neubie techs persuaded the CAW union in, with most of the usual lies. The owner could not put up with this too long so he sold it to a spoiled rich kid [thanks to his dad] Well the shop stewart was bought by the new owner and then the employee turnover started in all areas of the dealership, the employees there now are trying to just pay their bills and don't care about quality or customers. Thats why I'am a Xfordtech now and very happy.

Re: Ford Dealership Experiences

Hey x,

Can you give us some stories as a Ford Tech. Was was the easiest Ford to work on. What was the most difficult. What model did you see in the shop most. Stuff like that would be great to read.
