i was just curious as to what year mustangs people on this site have, or what year they want. feel free to list your mods!

i will start. had an 88gt with a good amount of mods good for 12.20's in the 1/4. totalled that back on xmas eve '97. currantly looking for either another fox body or a 67-69 fastback mustang with no drivetrain (already have a drivetrain ready for a vehicle) but would prefer the 67- 69 by a large margin.:fordsrule::fcrules::werd:

Im looking to by a 99-up Mustang GT in the next few months if i can find a good enough price and get a good enough price for my truck. However if i cant find one at a good price i will look into a V6 (please dont hate me).

Some of the modifications i plan on doing:
Underdrive Pulley - 10-12hp
Cold Air Induction(Custom) - 7-8hp
Catback Exhaust System w/ H-pipe
New White Rims (depends)
etc...

my dad told me i could get a mustang before i got my truck. he has a 2002. i feel kinda cramped in it but if anything ever happend to my truck i would probably get one.

this is what i want! But in Fords "Probe Purple" with pewter silver racing stripes. with a set of 17 inch centerlines and 275/40R17 Bfg Comp T/A ZR's. and my spare 5.0 H.O mated to an AOD.

well i got a lead on one this morning so i checked it out. looks like what i want. it is a 68 fastback GT?? it needs a little body work. floors are good, front fenders are decent, quarters are all right, interior is ehhh, no motor no trans. has a 9 inch with 4.11s with l/s?? oh well looks like i am getting it on the pennies. the owner one of my old childhood buddies dad, he is the second owner, told me just $10 yes $10 and get it off the property. (he gave it to his son, my friend, but he passed away over seas in an accident while doing a tour in Kosovo.) so he just wants to get rid of the memories. so i am getting it monday afternoon, when he digs out the title!

You are so Damn lucky i wish i could find a deal like that. little bit of work (it seems like a little always turns out to be alot) and you have a damn fine machine, and a Ford to top it all off.

Why do I always seem to be fixing chevys, when my Ford just keeps on going?

well i do have it now. i basically ripped off the fenders to check for hidden rust, etc. i have roved the rear axle to have it rebuilt. front and rear suspension are getting new polyurethane bushings, and new front coils/ rear leaf springs, i got my hands on an aod tranny on saturday. that is getting sent out to either baumann (ie, baummannator transmissions) or level 10 trannies, to get them done up so even i can not break it! and thats about it for now!

Saw one of these at a show back in '78 and have wanted one since. Once in a while I see replica body parts surface, but none lately. Maybe someday I'll get to build one.....:thumbsup:
