| 83 C-6 trans question I'm new to gas ford's, I have a 83 1 ton van with a 460/C-6 combo and high gear went away, every thing is good except high? If i man shift it when i go from 2 to high it freewheels(like netural) I have been doing my old mopar T/F trans for 30 years and this condition = direct clutches gone however having never beed in a C-6, i thought it better to ask those who know first! Fluid is clean, no lag going in 1st or reverse but will only shift man. 1 to 2 shift is firm. Any ideas ? I'm asking in case i should look for core parts first. Thank's Much      |
