Would lile to read the stored codes with my vom or better still with the engine warning light. Ive lost my shop manual so I need help jumpering the self diagnostics leads. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: EEC-IV diagnostics

I've got codes for Lincolns, but not Mercury....don't know if different or not. Hopefully someone can post the Mercury codes.

Re: EEC-IV diagnostics

Thanks SCrew I think I have the code key . My 91 F-150 will output the faults by connecting a jumper between the two self diagnostic connectors. The connectors are different on the MERCURY. I do not have access to a code reader therefore need to read them with the "check engine" light or a VOM. If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Ol' Bill
