2.3 4cyl. p2004 obd code
i have a 2003 ranger 2.3l 4cyl. i failed inspection for 2 obd codes. p0420 which is a bad cat and p2004 which is INTAKE MANIFOLD CONTROL STUCK OPEN.
how do i go about repairing this?

i checked with the local ford dealer and either they couldn't answer the question or just chose not to. either way, ineed to fix this problem asap.

Obviously the bad cat you will need to replace. Now p2004 (Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open), before you do anything make sure you check the plastic clips on these as they have been known to break.
