Galaxie Information

Can anybody hook me up with as much information about a 1969 Galaxie? Including anything that can help me create a concours galaxie, i.e. what tires it came with... what color everything was, what type of oil filter, fuel filter, blah blah blah... Also, any links to exploded views of engine-transmission or anything else

Thanks for any help.

Colby

Wow... how cool to come back and find that there has been some hits on my question.... Yes... I am a classic car kinda guy. Was actually a die hard GM guy until I bought this one... what a ride!!! I love working on this thing. Funny thing is, this winter I went to clean the battery compartment and now I currently have the transmission in the corner (clean as a whistle) and the engine on a stand in the process of getting a good clean-up/paint job. funny how one thing leads to another.

Thanks for the links, most of which I have been to but cant seem to find out much about my car... (guess I should have bought a mustang haha)

But on a postive note.... my car did get picked to be shown at Ford's 100 year Anniversary celebration this june.. hope I have the engine back in by then...hahah

Pics to follow soon... I was kind of reluctant to do it because, well it just seems vain. But if you really want to see it.. I will have something up by the weekend.... may even show you some of the state its in now.. (its kinda scary)...
