My "System"

I could talk about a great system, and I may create that someday, however, not yet. I have about half the set-up so far. My sterio is ok, usable. Some sort of optimus, I put in about 4 months ago. I also have a trunk box with about 10'' subs and a couple of tweeters. I intended to plop that box in my extended cab, but I am finding more and more that there is just no room for it with the uses that I use my truck for. I was thinking about taking out the subs and mounting them under my rear bucket seats, if they will fit. Anyway, all of this will be pointless until I get the amp. That is kinda important, and it is what I am lacking so far.
I do have another avenue smacking me in the face, I have a CB which I can alter to work as a PA system. For the work that I do, that would e nice. I will get some sort of mega phone, maybe off a school bus or something and wire that in. How this all fits into my system, I was looking at using my sterio, off the amp, as an second audio sorce for the megaphone. The wiring would be no prob, just my only problem is that I am afraid that the megaphone could not handle the audio. (After all, it really is not a speaker)
All that is not happened yet, that is my next project after I get the clutch working right again, and I would like to give my pistons a little TLC. Just thought I would throw it out. :fordsrule:

I have a small 15W PA speaker on my CB. It is pretty loud even with it mounted under the hood. But gets quite distorted when I turn it up. I would suggest getting one bigger than this if you are planning on using it much at all. Mine only cost $15 at Radio Shack. I got it mostly just to torment others. hehehe

Ok, I saw one really huge one at a flee market for $15, maybe I will pick it up. I just got to find a good place to mount it. Under the hood, that is a great idea!!! Sounds cool
