Which sub did you go with? I have a 10" MTX sub that is about 5 years old and in need of replacement. It's 200W RMS.

hey jason why didnt you tell me that you were hookin it up i would have came out and helped. oh well i guess that i will hear it when we meet on sunday. do you know of any junkyards close by i need a header for my truck so that i can prefab that turbo and then mount in like a straight bolt on peice.

MTX kicks ass...and if Memphis is so damn good....why have i never heard of them and why are they not sold in Crutchfield??? Infinity makes an alright sub...Kenwood makes excellent subs

besides everyone has their own opinions on subs... especiallly if they have some... its like i used to have 2 12" mtx 4000s and i thought they were kick ass untill my 1 10" audiobahn blew 'em out of the water! But the if your goin for sound qualtity go with somethin like alpine type rs and some mb quart components... but if your goin for spl go with some audiobahn flames... also when your purchasing subs look at enclosure size... make sure its correct... and check out the frequency levels.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they usually stink. It's especially not cool to tell someone what they just bought sucks, especially without hearing it at all.

Crutchfield doesn't sell everything, but they do sell the most populaur brands, inifinity, alpine, mtx, Polk, JBL, Kenwood, Kicker and Rockford Fosgate. But all brands offer good and cheap stuff. And most importantl to a system is balance which is what truly makes a system not just loud, but quite enjoyable to listen to, in a variety of music styles.

what 2k3 edge said. companies dont offer what is good, companies offer what is most wanted by the consumers they are targeting.

a 10 inch MTX is better than my 4 6x8s so I say Jas made a good mod. i want one but i gotta get an alarm first.
