Welp I've done a whole lot of tire changings in my time, but my Escape has me baffled.

Rear drivers side tire flat. Jacked it up, got all the nuts off, and the tire won't budge. Can't get the damn thing off at all. I assumed I didn't have to take off the center nut for the axle, I've never seen a car that did, besides I don't have the tools for it at the moment, but either its rusted really really tight (not likely, theres not a speck of rust anywhere else but that little center rim) or you gotta take off that big center nut (ridiculous).

Anyone got an idea as to whats going on? Is there some special trick to the escapes?

Edit: I can't get my hands on a manual at all either, it was used and didn't come with one or I wouldn't be having this trouble hahaha.

EDIT2: Welp a bent crowbar later, I got it to pop off. It was just rusted, incredible how tough it was to get off.
