| I worked at Target at one time. No offence to anyone but organization of that company and their training program is crap.
As a 19 year old who still lives with his parents I work at Home Depot. I am very overpaid and I am constantly tested and trained on everything from retail to everything needed to build a house. Since I am 19 I figure I can start out young, I get paid more than some men who raise families off of their earnings and all of mine gets saved. I am going to school to be a computer networking specialist and after school will get my MCSE A+ yadda yadda (so much for mod money)
If my company goes under I will have the experience and know how to be a painter, electrician, house framer, roofer, brick layer, i will be able to get a job at any millwork company in the country, landscaper, and I could even start my own building company or appraise or go into computers. and, being surrounded by managers (friends family etc.) and being trained to manage in retail i have good managment skills (if it werent for school i would be one)
I tried to join the military and they called me and came over and what not but once they found out I had asthma it was all over.
The way I see it there are a few things Americans will always need that can make the thinkers of the country rich..... everyone needs military, health care, food, cars, and homes.
Somehow I fell into homes. I dont know why but I just like learning about how all this stuff works.
Right now I am a little guy. If I was not in school I would be a middle man and get paid like .25 cents more an hour which is a joke. So when I get out of school I will make my move. Im thinking maybe head of security at a vegas casino?
