That's because I started at the bottom of the lader and climbed my way up-I have never, EVER, forgotten the people who I served or worked with, and who helped me get where I am today.

Something that a lot of people don't understand about the SEALs is why do they put the volunteers through so much hell, after what they have already gone through in Basic. BUD/S is designed to take groups of 8 individuals, and turn them into a TEAM.

All of us in the Teams are brothers, and when one is in trouble, or grieves for a loved one lost, or has anything in his life that he cannot handle, he knows that the rest of us are ther for him, even if we didn't serve with that particular person. I have tried to carry that into my civilian life, and let me tell you that it works anywhere!

My life for 26 years was just too intense for me to NOT laugh at it now, and be able to enjoy people. Of the 26 years, I spent 15 in the Middle East-my PERSONAL opinion is let them fight it out amongst themselves and quit interfering-we'll never be able to understand those people entirely.

Although, if I was still in, and I ran across Hussein, or binLaden, I wouldn't hesitate one bit to bust a VERY large cap in their direction-I carried a Barrett Light .50 on a regular basis, and could reach out and touch someone out to about 1500 meters!::
