| Bracing dilemma I have a bit of a problem, and I figure I'll ask here for the sake of conversation. I have a 66 Mustang coupe with the 289-2V. After having road raced it once, well, let's just say it was a little mushy. One of the things I'm going to do to try and fix this is install a Monte Carlo brace, which runs across the engine bay. This wouldn't be a problem on a car with air conditioning if it was using the original York compressor. Unfortunately, I'm using a Sanden compressor, which rides higher, and thus gets in the way. So how can I go about accomplishing the goal without removing the compressor? Is there another kind of brace I can use (I've already got the one-piece export brace on there)? |
