About the sound deadener. I don't mind your jumping in at all. That's what I'm here for. To seek advice and exchange ideas.
It's to late to change my mind though. I've already purchased the materials to complete the job.
Before doing so however I did a great deal of homework. Among others I read a rather lengthly article called "sound deadener showdown."
In which the author compared a dozen products. Including B-Quiet, Dynamat, FatMat, RAAMmat and Second Skin products.
I decided that while somewhat more expensive, IMO the better quality of Second Skin products, justified the additional costs.
This is a job I hope to do only once and have it last 15 or more years until I turn the truck over to my grandson.
