you are hooped.

Sorry to tell you this. If you had simply stalled out and left it, you would've been okay. Unfortuneately you have been repeatedly trying to start it and that has caused more damage than anything.

WHat has happened:

Water has entered the cylinders. Water will not compress as air will thus stalling the engine.

the Fix:

remove all your spark plugs and keep turning the engine over to push out water from the cylinders. Spraying WD40 in the cylinders help to. Try to remove as much water as possible form the engine. This includes the upper plenum.

WHat is damaged:

by repeatedly trying to start it, you force the engine to cycle over it's compression cycles. If the cylinders are full of water, it will not compress thus bending vavles or pushrods.

My advice to you is to remove the plugs and cycle the engine several times. spray some WD40 in the cylinder bores and cycle it a few times more. (WD40 will disperse water)

replace the plugs and try to start it. Hopefully it will start. If it does, it will certainly run like crap for a little while until all the water is out of the engine.

While your at it, better change the oil and check all the rest of the fluids including your diff and tranny.

Hope you haven't damaged your engine.

The absolute worst case is that you have a hole in a piston or bent valve and push rods.
